Can the Eucerin® Sun Protection Allergy Protection Sun Creme Gel SPF 25 also be used on children?
For (small) children we prefer to recommend sunscreen products without chemical sun protection filters to minimize the risk of contact allergies. However, if a “sun allergy” does occur, then as a rule, products should be used that help to improve this condition. That would be the Eucerin® Sun Protection Allergy Protection Sun Creme-Gel with sun protection factor 25, without emulsifiers and with AGR, a radical catcher that has been shown in clinical studies to improve and even completely suppress the symptoms. The most important measure, however, would be to protect yourself from the sun by wearing a T-shirt or some kind of cover-up. Also, children should be out in the direct sun as little as possible, though it is very difficult to hold them back, obviously… Therefore, they should always wear clothing and a protective head covering (UV radiation comes through anyway) and apply sunscreen underneath!
