Can the enzyme catalase breakdown hydrogen peroxide in ammonia (pH: 10)?

0

I am doing an experiment on the effects of pH levels on the enzyme catalase. I have found that a neurtral solution works well, but have also found that ammonia (diluted 10 to 1) reacts in the same way. I have taken the catalase out of cabbage, mixed it with varying pH levels and then added hydrogen peroxide. Fizzing, bubbles and foaming are all reactions which tell you that the enzyme is working properly.
