Can the eACLS™ course be used for initial training and renewal training?
Yes, eACLS™ has been designed to provide an overview of ten case studies common to advanced cardiac life support. To understand this content and successfully complete the interactivities, simulations, and final written and skills exams the user must be familiar with the various medical conditions, signs and symptoms, and treatment modalities for ACLS. It is therefore recommended that this program be used by professionals completing either initial or renewal ACLS training in conjunction with higher education programs and hospital or EMS in-service training.
