The ICE-procedure only works in the case of colour slides or colour negatives and cannot be applied to black/white images. Important: By scanning some black/white originals, the ICE corrector must be deactivated. Other wise the image quality gets so lost that the scans become completely useless, see in this concern our website about Questions about the correction procedure.
