No. Piezo pickups want to see a very high input impedance in the range of 4 meg to 10 meg ohms. The Radial PZ-Pre is designed for this. The challenge for designers is that as the impedance increases, noise sets in. By lowering the impedance, less noise but alas worse sound. The Dragster is designed for magnetic pickups. For piezo, you really need a very sophisticated preamp like the PZ-Pre. It took us 3 months to design the PZ-Pre and 2 years to eliminate the noise.
