Although the unit is not 100% water proof, it is water resistant and designed to be used safely outdoors. For the best care of your unit, we recommend using the rain jacket (included) for outdoor use. Try to position the DSP in an area where it will have some kind of shelter – For example mount the unit on the side of your home under the eave of your roof, or place the unit under a covered patio.
