Can the doctor give my a prescription without seeing me as the visit is very expensive?
While we understand that a larger part of the burden of paying for medical care is being shifted to the patient, it is our responsibility as medical providers to periodically reevaluate patients that we prescribe medications for to assure efficacy, lack of side effects and continued appropriateness of said medication. For that reason, we do need to periodically need to see you prior to writing a medication refill.
