A. Yes. Both the DME 1000 and DME 2000 support stream splitting natively. However, we highly recommend that you use the DME 2000 to do this instead of the DME1000. The dual processors on the DME 2000 would handle this easily. The DME 1000 is good at doing one thing at a time, for example either streaming up to 320×240 / 500Kbps or VOD creation.
