Can the Desiccant be recharged or regenerated?
Though the desiccant itself can be recharged – the desiccant packs are not rechargeable. The special paper ( DuPontTyvek®) will melt long before the temperature to dry the desiccant is reached. However, replacement packs are readily available at minimal cost from us or other sources. It is not only easier to replace the desiccant but it is actually more economical. In order to fully dry the desiccant, the desiccant often needs to be heated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (or higher) for an hour or more.
