A. In order to expedite finding the correct account number under the new chart of accounts system, the department recommends obtaining the file of Exhibit B, Narrative Explanation of the 2002-2003 Chart of Accounts from the department. This file was emailed to all private schools that had provided the department with an email address. To more easily find the account numbers, perform the “Edit” and “Find” function in Microsoft Word.
