Can the decision of the justice or judge be appealed?
If you are not released on bail, or you believe the amount of bail bond is set much too high, you can ask for the decision of the justice of the peace or judge to be reviewed by a judge of the Superior Court of Justice. If the Superior court judge denies your application, you must wait 30 days before applying for another review. You should always be represented by a lawyer at a bail hearing.
