Can the D-Range Optimizer function be used to correct saved image data? How long does the processing take?
The D-Range Optimizer function does not correct saved JPEG data, but instead corrects captured image data before the chain of photographic processes converts it into a JPEG file. This reduces deterioration and allows the image to be saved with optimal correction. Set the D-range optimization function before taking a picture, then take the picture to save the picture. In Advanced mode, if many pictures are taken in succession, the buffer memory may become overloaded and the processing time becomes slightly longer than normal.
