Can the current Finance security roles be “crosswalked” programmatically to the new system so we would not have to re-request the roles?
No, the decision was made to take advantage of the opportunity to clean up the roles in the system and to encourage role approvers to reconsider who should have access to which roles. While this means some additional work for the Financial Upgrade go-live, in the long-term this role simplification will save a great deal of work for everyone.
