Can the CDH behave itself as a stand-alone server without the existence of another file server?

Yes, when CDH is working in Microsoft, Macintosh, UNIX and HTTP network environments, the CDH behaves itself as a stand-alone server. But for the CDH to work in a NetWare network environment, a NetWare bindery server has to exist along with the CDH. If the NetWare bindery server does not exist, the NetWare clients are not able to locate and log onto the CDH to access data.
