Can the CCPS Department of Professional Learning continue to provide professional learning opportunities for the employees of our district? If so, will these courses allow employees to earn credit?
Yes to both questions. The Department of Professional Learning has a comprehensive plan for uninterrupted service to our employees while the district works to regain accreditation and last week submitted an application for status as a “state approved vendor” for non-endorsement and non-certification professional learning courses through the GA DOE. This application received approval on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 to include courses beginning on or after September 11, 2008.
