Can the C Plus Decoders be upgraded in the field?
Yes. In fact upgrades are really easy because all C Plus units are Flash based. Any software upgrades are performed in minutes by uploading from a PC. Upgrades are normally sent to the customer by email. There is no need to un-wire or disconnect the Decoder. Simply connect a PC to the Decoder’s serial port and away you go. The Decoder will be out of service for 3 or 4 minutes at the most.
