Can the Bulldogs stop the Wrecking Crew line?
While most will concentrate on Ty Warren (recently voted Big 12 Player of the Week) ultimately the best defensive line prospect for A&M could be third year sophomore Marcus Jasmin, an absolute load in the middle at tackle that collapses the pocket yet at the same time displays athleticism and the ability to stuff the run, rush the passer or make plays laterally. On the other side of the line all eyes will be focused on Damien Lavergne, a massive and athletic offensive tackle that can be placed on either the weak or strong sides of the ball. When he puts his mind to it Lavergne is an immovable object that destroys opponents blocking for the run or handles them at the point in pass protection. Problem is Lavergne only does it on occasion, takes downs off and plays with a lackadaisical almost lazy attitude.
