Can the Board record a meeting of the Board of Directors or the Owners?
Yes. The secretary of the meeting can take notes or record the meeting to assist in drafting the minutes. Individuals who participate in the discussions are considered to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information (section 8(2) of PIPA). The notes or electronic recording should only be kept until the minutes are approved.
