Can the BlueLynx BLM-TX/BLM-RX units be configured to sense voltage?

The BLM-TM transmitter module can be configured to sense 1-5 volts or 4 to 20 mA. They are usually shipped configured to 4-20 mA. Some units built prior to January 2003 were shipped as 1-5 VDC. To change from one configuration to the other, it is necessary to install or remove a jumper kit. If the jumper kit is installed, the unit will sense 4-20 mA. If it is removed, the unit will sense 1-5 VDC. If you are uncertain which configuration you have, measure the resistance between the loop plus and minus terminals. A reading of 250 ohms indicates the jumpers were installed, and the unit is configured to sense 4-20mA signals. All units are shipped with a parts bag containing extra jumpers and precision 250-ohm resistors. Placing a jumper from the kit bag across the plus and minus terminals will configure the unit to sense 4/20 mA signals. To install or remove the jumpers, you must refer to the manual that came with the units. The BLM receiver always puts out a current, not a voltage. If you
