Can the Big Button send mousedown input to the PC or is it limited to a mouse click?

All our buttons and interfaces provide true mouse-clicking. With our SAM’s, we are simply wiring to the switches themselves on the PC board inside the trackball. On the Big Buttons, we use the actual guts of a mouse inside the Big Button (don’t steal my idea now ;-), so as far as the computer, Mac or PC, is concerned, it’s another mouse attached to it. The DJI interface for PC goes into the keyboard board, if I remember correctly, and requires Accessibility|MouseKeys to be able to do a ‘click’. That’s why it works the way it does. Our’s indeed does true mousedown/mouseup events. I discovered, back in 1987, that it was necessary, on the old Apple II’s, to discriminate between these events, for many kids. The concept of reinforcement taking place during mousedown and ceasing with mouseup, was instituted in our Children’s Switch Progressions in 1987 and continues with many of our titles to this day.
