Can the Beta TSE be used with protocols other than IPX and IP?
Yes. The TSE is aware of IPX and IP protocol headers for various frame types. However, the TSE is designed to be non protocol specific. Protocol identification can be accomplished in a variety of ways, including direct access to ECB data structures, which indicate protocol ID which can uniquely identify combinations of frame type and protocol. For custom protocols, you have the ability to develop rules that match any data in the frame and the ECB.
