Can the beams bridge between hatch covers on a vessel?
Yes, the beams can bridge any two hatch covers using our sliding aperture plates (ITLT proprietary technology). Each SBS is manufactured with sliding aperture plates on the bottom to account for cell hatch movement during voyage. These sliding plates provide enough give as the vessel rolls to eliminate stress on the steel and keep the beam structurally sound.
