One unique feature of the BaySaver Separation System is the ability to tie together multiple lines into a single outlet. With the BaySaver you can bring more than one pipe into the primary manhole and, if need be, at different elevations. However, there are a few points to keep in mind when designing this type of configuration. First, if you are tying two pipes into the primary manhole and the pipes are of different diameters, try to set the elevation of the crowns at the same height. This will prevent the system from backing up at high flow rates. Second, be sure that there is at least 6″ of concrete between any holes that will be cast into the manhole (this means between any pipes and the BaySaver). Finally, keep in mind which side the storage manhole is located on (either right or left) when determining which pipes can be tied into the primary manhole.
