All tools can be used on energized cables without harming the internal circuitry. They have been tested up to 50 KV, however, if the tools are grounded or touch other electrical phases on high voltage lines, they would be destroyed. Caution must be paramount when using any product around energized cable. Always adhere to your company’s procedure.
