Can the Aurora be seen in the Southern Hemisphere?
They can be seen in both hemispheres. However due to the lack of population in the Southern Hemisphere, you don’t tend to hear about it as much. When an aurora is occuring in the Northern Hemisphere, it also occurs in the Southern Hemisphere at the same time. Infact some research shows that the patterns are mirrored in both Hemispheres at the same time.
