Can the AG2000 be used in chemical injection or fertigation applications?
A. Yes. The AG2000 can be used in these applications with a high degree of accuracy. It is important, however, to install the chemical line downstream of the meter OR far enough upstream to ensure complete mixing of the fluid before it reaches the meter. (Alternating unmixed chemicals with water causes the magmeter readings to “jump” as a result of rapidly changing conductivities. This is true for all magmeters from any manufacturer. The problem is easily resolved, however, by proper placement of the meter relative to the chemical line.
