Can the ACEA stop further action from a bailiff?
No. ACEA does not have authority to halt bailiff action, which is normally under the authority of a court order. You would need to seek legal advice on the steps required to prevent further action or make a satisfactory payment to the bailiff. Where it can be shown that an overpayment has been made to a member of the association ACEA can assist in obtaining a refund, where required.
