Yes. The supposed “limit” of 512M is a limitation of the BIOS in MS-DOS machines, and the A4000 is not subject to this limit. The maximum current supported partition size is 4G, and the maximum drive size is 4G. If you want to fully use larger drives, you’ll have to look into replacing the 3.1 FFS with an alternate filesystem.
