Can the 1010 be used for LPG loading?
For applications where LPG is measured in corrected volume, the LP Application Pack provides temperature and pressure compensation to API standards.In many countries, however, LPG is measured in mass on a weighbridge and often, the governing legislation will only permit measurement by mass.In these applications, it is becoming increasingly popular to use coriolis flowmeters as they measure in mass. The complication with this measurement is that often the vapour is returned to the tank via a vapour return line. As this is a significant amount, it is then necessary to install a second smaller coriolis flowmeter in the return line.
