Asphalt or bitumen can be measured by coriolis flowmeters and loaded as mass (or volume if the flowmeter has a volumetric output pulse). The loading will follow the standard 1010 operation.While it is possible to load using a positive displacement flowmeter, temperature compensation is not possible. This is because there are no compensation tables for these products that are acceptable to most weights and measures bodies.
