Can teams receive assistance?
A11: According to Rule 3.4 of the EMC² Rules, the Team Assistance is clearly explained, but briefly you are only permitted to receive assistance on style, form, oral presentation and written presentation. You are not permitted assistance on the substance, except to have questions posed to you. Therefore, you are permitted to have WTO/International Trade Law experts ask you questions, but not give you the answers. In addition outside assistance may direct you to specific research resources, although this will be rare because of the guidance the Case Author has provided. Essentially ELSA believes this is an issue of good faith by all involved.
