Can taking my baby outside in cold, damp, or rainy weather make him sick?

How old is the baby? I wouldn’t because of the chance of getting the infant sick from other people. The rule is that cold weather will not cause someone to get a virus or bacterial infection. But the change in weather can cause sinuses to drain fluid and mimic a cold or allergies. If your baby is ever sick then you must keep them inside, warm and safe, because a cold can develop into pneumonia by going outside into the cold. You are right. I’m a physician assistant and work in family medicine.
