Under MM2H, participants are NOT allowed to work in Malaysia. However, you may apply to the Human Resources Ministry seeking special approval for you to work in Malaysia because of your expertise. If you are successful, you will be issued a work permit or Employment Pass. Should you decide to reside in Malaysia upon expiry of your work permit then you may apply for MM2H.
