Click here for the Open Enrollment Form. When can I register my child for kindergarten? Kindergarten registration is held between February and March at each local PUSD elementary school. The District offers a half-day program at no cost and a tuition-based full-day Kindergarten Academy. All children must be 5 years old by August 31 of the year they begin kindergarten. Contact your local elementary school for more information. Note: Elementary school offices are closed during the summer.
