Can students take receipt of FOI requests?
It depends on the status of the student. If they are employed by the University in an official capacity, students can take receipt of requests on behalf of the University and are subject to the usual procedures for responding. Students who are not employees of the University cannot be expected to be responsible for responding to or forwarding on FOI requests.
