Can students take additional leave outside their timetabled curriculum?
As a general rule students are not permitted or encouraged to take time out of the regular programme. Please refer to the attendance policy for nursing students which describes the principles that apply to all disciplines. In addition to speaking with their programme leader if they have difficulty, students must also consult with the PLU regarding any exceptional requests. For nursing, the agreed protocol should be observed.
