Can students earn CEUs for attending sessions at the ASHA Convention?
A student can earn CEU’s for attending sessions at the ASHA Convention. However, it is doubtful that they will have any merit in meeting the certification maintenance requirements for ASHA. You must be a member of ASHA to receive credit for courses taken to maintain certification. Your state association may be another story. Check with your state association to see if they will honor CEU’s earned as a student for state licensure.
