Can students apply before the recommendation is submitted?
Yes. College recommended students can apply for certification before the institutional recommendation is submitted. In the TEACH application transaction summary, the institutional recommendation requirement will be not be satisfied (check marked) if the institution has not yet submitted it. The student can check their individual account information to see if the recommendation has been submitted.
