Can student information, work or photographs be posted on a web page?
The only student information that may be published on the Internet is their name and grade level. According to the Criteria for Publication of Student Material on the Internet, “Student-generated written material, student-generated artwork or photographs of students participating in activities, sports, or other school-related events may not be posted on a Merrimack School District Website or a teacher-created website unless parents/guardians have provided written consent for the posting. Such postings may include the student name, grade and classroom teacher, but not other identifying information.
