Can stretch marks (birth marks after pregnancy) in that area be removed during the Abdominoplasty?
Yes, this is possible. During the surgery the surgeon will remove excessive skin from the area under the navel. Existing stretch marks will be removed too, as much as possible. It will not be possible to remove marks which are located above the navel. However, eventually remaining stretch marks above or below the navel may be treated in a separate laser session. Although it is not always possible to remove them completely by laser, after treatment they will be less visible and less disturbing. (Laser treatments can be repeated several times.
