Can stainless steel pans be destroyed while cooking?
A. Your pans will last for many years if used correctly with normal use. Metals are affected by high heat or extreme changes in temperature and can cause warping. This can be avoided by never using HIGH heat. High heat can damage the cookware, and it’s also a waste of fuel. Never put a hot pan in cold water! The highest oven temperature recommended is no higher than 350 F. Never cut up foods while in the pans.
