Can St. Rose slay one of the Shores giants in a big Shore Conference Tournament game?
The Purple Roses graduated talented center Kelly Clark and sharpshooter Janine Mullin but still return a deep guard rotation and some size underneath. They have pushed the St. John Vianneys and RBCs of the world in the regular season lately but haven’t been able to take down a team like that in a high-stakes SCT game. We’ll see if they can get over the hump this year. 7. Can Wall help make the Class B North race even more interesting? On paper, Neptune and Freehold look like they will battle it out, but Wall has a host of returners led by versatile guard Kathryn Campbell, so I wouldn’t completely leave them out of the discussion, either. When it comes to beating Neptune, a team has to have guards that can withstand full-court pressure or they will be eaten alive, which is why Freehold has had success because it has veteran guards. If Wall’s guards can help the Crimson Knights make it a halfcourt game, they might be able to pull a stunner. 8. Can anyone give Colts Neck a run in Class A
