Can sputter coated high performance glass be used monolithically?
Yes, Guardian’s new SunGuard High Durability Solar Series products can be used monolithically provided that the coating is installed on the inside surface ( #2 surface) of the window. There are 5 coatings that are available on both clear and green glass and in thicknesses from 3mm – 12mm. Light Blue 52 is uniquely designed for use as monolithic glass in storefronts and structural walls.
