Can sponsors bring their children to camp?
Sponsors are not able to bring their children unless they have a nursing infant who is under the age of 1. The infant must be registered along with the parents. Child care facilities and staff are not available for families during the weeks which are Teen Camp only. Although THE WILDS is a family-oriented ministry, our desire is to be consistent in this policy. In emergency situations, sponsors must obtain special permission. Contact one of the registration secretaries and they will get you an answer as quickly as possible. The only exception to this is week 10, where sponsors are allowed to bring their children. If your child is at least 9 years old by September 1, 2011, he or she will be attending the junior or teen camp program.
