Can South Beach really handle becoming all Jerzi-fied?
Looks like Snooki, Pauly D and The Situation are packing their bags and pumping their fists in glee now that the Jersey Shore crew is heading to South Beach for the second season of their MTV show, which will start filming as early as May, Movieline.com can confirm. The moment the ink was dry on the cast’s new contracts, Jersey Shore producers crisscrossed the U.S. in search of the ideal locale to provide the guidos and guidettes with the perfect party central spot. And what city says Party in the USA better than Miami? Although producers claimed to have narrowed down their choices to ten potential locations, TMZ reportedly intercepted a letter to the owner of Miami’s Mynt Lounge seeking permission to film there in March or April of this year; the cast will reportedly live in a sweet pad off of the beach city’s popular Lincoln Road.
