There are similarities and a lot of differences. Both are Pagan, but Wicca is more neo-pagan than Druidism. Gereld Gardner founded Wicca in 1957 based on older and romanticised concepts and practices. Druidism does a similar thing, but has a longer history and continues to try and do reconstruction based on archological finds, for the most part. Druids see the different Gods and Goddesses and seperate beings. Wiccans tend to believe all the Goddesses are just aspects of The Goddess, and similarly with the Gods. Many Druids would probably find this idea a little offensive. Many other beliefs, practices, and focuses are different. Druidity is more of an offeratory focused than Wicca. The bulk, actually practically all, of the Druid Rituals I’ve attended involve offerings/sacrifices to the Deities, naturespirits, ancestors and other kindereds.
