Our district police department undergoes training that the other departments named do not normally receive. • Can the district police department write real tickets and what happens to the tickets the department writes? Yes, the tickets the department writes are real tickets. Once issued, the tickets will be filed with the Somerset Municipal Court or with the Justice of the Peace Office.
