Can someone without Mario Party DS play it if they download it?
In Mario Party DS it is possible to play a multiplayer game with up to four people, even if only one person has Mario Party DS. The person with Mario Party DS must be the host. There is an option called “Multiplayer” in the main menu of the game. The host must select this option and after he/she does so, the other person/people must select “DS Download Play” on the main menu of their Nintendo DS systems. After doing so, an option to select “Mario Party DS” will appear and must be selected. The list of people that have joined (up to 3 people can join the host) will appear on the screen of the host’s Nintendo DS system. To start playing, the host must select “OK” on his Nintendo DS.
