I don’t see why not if their disability allows it. Also I would like to point out that people with downs syndrome are NOT retarded as stated in previous reply. I think that is deeply offensive to people with downs syndrome and you should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Anyone can work anywhere as long as they are capable of doing the job. People with disabilities shouldn’t be excluded from any job they are able to perform. I think this type of questioning can be offensive. I’ve worked with people with developmental disabilitites and they are some of the sweetest, funniest most hard-working people I know.

These days Down Syndromes are better educated and can do most things,My aunt was downs and did well for herself until her dad died then she went down hill she as sinced passed bless her.One thing i will say is that the strengh they have is more than most men would have.

not sure about mcdonald’s but I used to work at Hardee’s, and we had two people with down syndrome working there, one a man named Doug, who washed the dishes, and the other a young girl (19) who swept the dining area, and washed down the tables…
