Can someone tell me if hydrocodone withdrawal causes your heart to pound and beat fast?
You wouldn’t be experiencing withdrawal after only 4 hours from taking your last 2-10mg tablets. However I would contact your pharmacist or another one and ask them. If you are 4 days from taking it then yes you could be having withdrawal. If you don’t get help by either weaning off of the med properly or getting enough to help you wean off, then you may have to go through withdrawal and could end up in the E.R. I’d contact your dr. either way and see if he can give you enough to help you taper off the dosage correctly to prevent you from having withdrawal symptoms or ending up in the E.R. You can call the dr. even if the office isn’t open as they will be more likely to call you back then when they are in the office seeing patients. He can then tell you how to wean off properly and also call you in the same medication or a lower dose to help you wean off.
